9"x14", Micron pen, india ink, and white acrylic on Bristol board
This month will mark the first anniversary of this blog. Thanks to all who have followed this blog and left great comments and critiques. The first ever post in this blog was a Wonder Woman piece. So for the sake of celebration, here is a new Wonder Woman piece.
I worked up this piece for the Big Beautiful Wonder Woman blog, It's headed by Jamar Nicholas, a talented cartoonist in his own right. As an ardent admirer of the rubenesque female and a fan of the character, this was an absolute joy to draw.
I have a color version coming in a couple of days and that will be what I submit to Mr. Nicholas' blog. In the meantime, visit his blog and check the very nice art in all types of styles there. It's very cool.
Now if somebody created a BIG Beautiful Big Barda blog (say that three times fast), I'd really be in trouble...

Nice Redux Yo, I really enjoy the consistency of line and the rock prop is very well rendered and weights the composition perfectly.
I love the lines, Adrian. I also love the fact that you love rebenesque females.
Thanks, Brax! This came almost too easy in a way. But when you are fully invested in drawing something that interests you, I guess it should be almost effortless to a degree.
Plus, as I've said before, I don't do cheesecake. Not because I'm a prude or whatnot, I'm just not good at it. And I hate faking it just to draw 'canned sexy' like Adam Hughes or whomever.
So when I draw women, I like to draw the type of women that I find attractive in a mostly non-explotative way. And with different body types at that.
