I really like the expression and the color choices. You really maximized the tones that the cardboard set for you. It's beautiful!

Thanks, Brax.

It's been quite a minute since I've used gouache. I've had a new set for about a year that I opened two tubes of maybe twice. Plus I had remnants of some tubes from my original art school starter kit of 10 years ago(yikes!).

I broke out the goauche after looking at some Bob Peak and Richard Amsel. I couldn't appreciate it before, I'm really liking the layering that you can get with gouache. It's transparent yet opaque with a matte finish that I love. I want to try some more stuff with gouache in the immediate future.
